Mamori needs a quick one-time setup in iOS Settings to activate. After tapping protection in the app, go to Settings → General → VPN, DNS & Device Management → DNS and select Mamori. Once enabled there, filtering works system-wide across every app and browser. The in-app shield then controls it from that point on.
Mamori filters at the DNS level, which means it protects every app and browser on your device, not just Safari. It blocks JAV and hentai sites that generic filters miss, along with millions of mainstream adult sites. It can also block explicit content inside Apple's own apps and block other apps you choose.
You can lock your protection so it can't be turned off in a weak moment. Choose a cooldown timer, a long typed phrase, or a PIN held by someone you trust. While a lock is active, you can always make protection stronger (add blocks), but you can't weaken it until the lock is satisfied.
When enabled, uninstall protection makes Mamori harder to delete on impulse, using Apple's Screen Time framework. It is friction designed to help you pause in a tempting moment. Note that because it is your device, this protection can be turned off in your device's Screen Time settings — it is a deliberate speed bump, not an absolute lock.

Mamori offers a free trial of full protection. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. After the trial, your subscription renews at the price shown at signup unless cancelled.
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, or open Mamori's Settings and tap Manage Subscription. You can cancel anytime there.
Open Mamori's Settings and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID for an active subscription or a lifetime purchase and restores your access.
